Police Reports Attribute Death of Late Syrian Actress Mai Skaf to Brain Hemorrhage

According to Russia today, sources close to late Syrian actress Mai Skaf have said that she has died of a brain hemorrhage caused by a past illness and that there was no criminal suspicion surrounding her death.

Moreover, media reports have stated that the police have removed the cordon around Skaf’s house, and that the body of the late actress will be buried in in the cemetery of the town of “Dourdan” on the outskirts of Paris on Friday, August 3, at 10 am (France local time), and the funeral procession will pass through the streets of Dourdan.

It is worth mentioning that the French police had suspected a criminal case for the death of actress Mai Skaf, who had died last Monday in Paris, especially after friends and relatives said that she was in good health and did not complain of any illness.

Skaf, had joined protestors in Damascus since the onset of the crisis in Syria and had been arrested several times by the Syrian before leaving Syria to Jordan, and later moving to Paris.

The late Mai Skaf was born in Damascus in 1969 and studied French literature at the University of Damascus. She acted in many plays, TV series and films.
