Al Owais Cultural Foundation to Host “Eshraqat 2022” Exhibition on Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022

The Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation, in collaboration with Rouh Al Fan Foundation, will host a grand exhibition under the title of “Eshraqat 2022” (Illuminations 2022) at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022, at the Grand Exhibition Hall of Al Owais Cultural Foundation in Rigga Street, Dubai.

The exhibition will feature a constellation of leading Arab artists and will showcase more than 100 works of art, including paintings made with water or oil colors or natural materials, as well as sculptures and art installations that will be exhibited for a whole week at the Exhibition of Al Owais Cultural Foundation.

“Eshraqat 2022” will feature artists: Ihsan Al Khatib, Gehan Fawzi, Hussein Al Daggas, Hassan Al Salwan, Khalil Abdul Wahid, Saad Yakan, Salma Al Marri, Sulaiman Bin Khamis Al Jahouri, Suzi Nassif, Shakir Al Alousi, Safwan Aslan, Taher Abdel Azeem, Abdul Rahim Salim, Azza Al Qubaisi, Ali Rida Saleim, Fadi Fadel, Faisal Abdul Qader, Mohammed Khaled Al Sameraei, Mohammed Fahmi, Mutasim Al Kubaisi, Mahdiya Ali Al Talib, Natiq Al Alousi, Fawzi Hilal and Waddah Al Sayed.

The upcoming exhibition aims at underlining the power of art and how it is capable of overcoming any obstacles in life as beauty will always outshine ugliness and creative ideas always emerge in the realm of visual purity; hence elevating feelings towards nobleness. Art, with its philosophy of color harmoniously merges with the force of life and the result is the big painting that frames our existence and highlights our humaneness wherever our voices reach.

Moreover, this exhibition is like a bouquet that displays beautiful flowers of varied colors, shapes and meanings, which come from different Arab countries yet are united by their genuine color and their expressiveness and share a high sense of beauty that is not only visible to the eye but that is also heartfelt. Indeed, one of the greatest values of art is when hearts can see the meaning behind the colors and give it the respect and attention it deserves.

It is worth mentioning that this joint experience between the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation and Rouh Al Fan Foundation, is the first initiative of its kind to establish a visual culture and carry forth an important social message about the power of joint initiatives, and how they are often in the best interest of art; because expertise meets with the ambitious and adventurous spirit of research to form a new experience within the framework of diligent work, all in the aim of serving art and refining public taste.
