A Paris gallery is offering visitors the chance to immerse themselves in the colourscapes of Vincent Van Gogh like never before.<\/span><\/p>\n

L\u2019Atelier des Lumieres is projecting digitized, multilayered versions of some of the artist\u2019s most famous works, including \u201cStarry Night Over the Rhone\u201d and \u201cChurchyard in the Rain\u201d, onto its floor and walls<\/span><\/p>\n

Conveying at different stages the illusion of water rippling in the light and raindrops falling, the show is accompanied by a rich soundtrack.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, we have \u201cThe Starry Night,\u201d we have the sunflowers, we have the irises,\u201d gallery director Michael Couzigou told Reuters TV.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

\u201cThe idea here is to propose something that\u2019s different from classic museums. It\u2019s to allow the visitors to really get inside the paintings.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cVan Gogh, La Nuit Etoil\u00e9e\u201d, which opens on Friday and runs until Dec 31, is the gallery\u2019s second immersive art project, following a Gustav Klimt show in 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n
