The Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation will be hosting an art exhibition by plastic artist Fatma Lootah on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. The event will take place at 7:30 pm at the Grand Exhibition Hall at Al Owais Cultural Foundation premises in Deira, Dubai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Artist Fatma Lootah had participated last December 2017 in a group exhibition titled \u201cWomen Innovations\u201d, which was hosted by the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation on the occasion of celebrating the 46th<\/sup> National Day of the UAE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Moreover, Lootah\u2019s artworks were displayed on the iconic Nasdaq tower in Times Square, New York last August; shedding light on Emirati Heritage. Lootah was chosen as part of the Nasdaq Artist in Residence project, a venture launched by Nasdaq to support local artists by displaying their artworks on a huge billboard in Times Square.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is worth mentioning that artist Fatma Lootah studied art at the Baghdad Art Academy and also studied at the Art Department of the American University in Washington. She has lived and worked in Verona, Italy, since 1984. she held numerous solo and group exhibitions in many cities around the world,<\/p>\n\n\n\n including: Rome, Milan, Reggio Emilia, Brescia, Munich (Germany), Geneva (Switzerland), Paris (France), Washington D.C.
